Midnight Agency is pleased to welcome Rubber Tire Peep Show to the roster. The Canadian musical collective has grown from high-school dish-pit daydreams into a full-scale touring band whose sound draws from a dynamic blend of country-blues sensibilities and rock and roll spirit.
In 2024, Rubber Tire Peep Show completed two multi-provincial tours, selling out shows across Canada in support of their self-titled debut LP. The record earned attention from EXCLAIM!, CBC Radio One, and a spot on Halifax Music Archives’ Best of 2024. After a sold-out homecoming show in Toronto, the band went on to a main stage slot at Highlands Music Festival, an opening run with Sloan, and a milestone performance at TD Music Hall to kick off 2025. Additional appearances include Ottawa Bluesfest, the Canadian National Exhibition and more.
On stage, the “Peep Show” is built around a deep love of performance and improvisation. Sets are shaped by jam-forward arrangements, extended grooves, and a revolving cast of collaborators, with the band working hard to make each night feel distinct. As Roots Music Canada noted in a festival review, Rubber Tire Peep Show are “a joy to watch,” standing out in the current live landscape.
Musically, Rubber Tire Peep Show move freely between eras and styles, folding classic rock, roots, country-blues, jam-band exploration, and modern indie textures into a sound that feels both familiar and new. Their momentum has been reflected in growing national attention and festival buzz, with Exclaim! naming them one of the “five must-see acts” at York Region’s Aurorapalooza 2024. With a sophomore album on the way and national and international touring plans for 2026, Rubber Tire Peep Show are poised to become a fixture on Canada’s live circuit and beyond.
