Midnight Agency is proud to welcome Moondoggy to the roster. Formed in Collingwood, Ontario in 2019 and now based in Toronto, the alternative rock band has built its name through house parties, DIY spaces, steady releases, and a live show sharpened by years of playing together. With Jakob Matanowitsch, Ben Matanowitsch, Jonny Contini, and Victor Carrillo at the core, Moondoggy arrives at Midnight with real momentum behind them and a clear next chapter ahead.
Since releasing their debut full-length Mad & Noisy in 2023, Moondoggy has turned grassroots buzz into measurable growth. The album has gone on to surpass 14 million streams worldwide, while the band’s audience now sits above 480,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. That momentum has carried from streaming platforms to the stage, with sold-out Toronto shows at storied rooms like the Horseshoe Tavern and Lee’s Palace, plus first-ever U.S. and European touring now underway in support of Around The Fire.
