Midnight Agency is pleased to announce that Australian singer-songwriter Kim Churchill has joined the roster. Known for his laidback folk style, Kim has been performing globally since 2009, playing international festivals like Glastonbury, Montreal Jazz Festival, and South By South West.
Raised in Merimbula, Australia, Kim has been recognized as Australia’s National Youth Folk Artist of the Year and was nominated for the National Live Music Awards’ Roots Act of the Year.
In 2023, Kim returned with his seventh-studio album Dawn Sounds, which featured singles like “Fighter,” “Please Come Home (Feat. Steph Strings),” and “Go Try Fall.” The album followed his biggest regional tour to date, with additional performances across Europe, the UK, and Canada.
So far in 2024, Kim has completed his largest Canadian headline tour and performed at Edmonton and Mariposa Folk Festivals. He has also toured Europe with Amistat, continuing his busy schedule of live performances.
With a sound often described as "ocean-side blues," Kim brings a distinctive presence to the stage highly praised by industry and fans alike. His latest single, “Reflecting,” featuring Emily Brimlow, will be part of his upcoming album It’s Lovely To Have You Here, set for release on October 11th. This will coincide with a two-month European headline tour.
