Midnight Agency is proud to welcome the Seattle-based funk and soul group True Loves to the roster.
The group was founded in 2014 as a jam session by drummer David McGraw, bassist Bryant Moore, and guitarist Jimmy James. Since then, True Loves has grown into a global force with the addition of percussionist Iván Galvez, horn players Jason Cressey and Greg Kramer, and saxophonists Gordon Brown and Skerik.
True Loves' live performances have earned them acclaim and millions of streams on YouTube. Their "Live at KEXP" videos alone have been viewed over 4 million times. Their sophomore album, "Sunday Afternoon," was even featured in the Top 10 Contemporary Jazz Billboard Charts in 2021.
True Loves infectious energy resonates with audiences worldwide. Their ability to blend nostalgic and modern elements creates a distinct sound that has earned them a devoted following.
Since the release of their debut instrumental LP "Famous Last Words" in 2017, the band's popularity has led to numerous headlining shows and coveted spots at major music festivals across the West Coast.
