Recently awarded Young Performer of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Awards, Kelly is swiftly gaining recognition as a poetic lyricist with a powerful and versatile voice.
Kelly's 2022 debut album “Garden Through the War” showcases a significant leap in her songwriting maturity. Produced and mixed at Fixed Hinge Studio by Jim Bryson (Kathleen Edwards, The Tragically Hip) and mastered by Grammy-nominated Phillip Shaw Bova, the album earned nomination for Album of the Year at Folk Music Awards 2023. Additionally, Kelly was named Emerging Artist of the Year by Culture Outaouais, received two Canadian Folk Music Award nominations, and represented Canada at the 2023 Jeux De La Francophonie.
