Abraham Laguna, professionally known as Ookay, joins Midnight Agency’s roster. The San Diego-born Gold-Certified DJ and producer has left an indelible mark on electronic music with his sound-spanning house and trap-style productions.
Ookay first gained recognition with the 2016 festival anthem "Thief," and followed up with collaborations like "Chasing Colors" with Marshmello and Noah Cyrus, and with Diplo on the reimagining of Avicii’s “You Make Me”. His debut album launched a global tour spanning major festivals such as Lollapalooza, Coachella, Bonnaroo, and EDC Las Vegas.
Ookay's music quickly gained recognition, and as his career evolved, transitioned into a melodic trap-oriented sound. His music and remixes of tracks by artists such as Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, Royal & The Serpent, MAX and more earned him accolades on Beatport, and amassed 40 million Spotify streams.
Live, Ookay brings dynamic, instrument-rich performances to the stage combining charismatic presence with live instrumentation and visual flair. Taking stages all over the globe, OOKAY has proven time after time why pouring your heart & soul into the music and performance creates a bond with all of those who watch.
Looking ahead, Ookay is steering toward high-energy club and dance-oriented productions, blending the core elements that defined his rise with new creative direction. He has now birthed a new project titled “Trickstar” in collaboration with New York-based artist Bailo. This new project has already gained collaborations with Marshmello, Lil Jon, DJ Snake, Flosstradamus & more.
